Welcome to ps3bits.net.

I am so very sorry that the website has been down for so long. But it appears that my host doesn't wish to help repair the site that was first inaccessible (as many of you noted to me) for a number of days – the errors all indicated the server was not responding, and I could not access it myself in any manner to revive it.

I notified my host, and interestingly in a matter of minutes the site was accessible. However, whatever had happened on the site had destroyed the website in the process. I asked for the site to have the backup restored, and they did – but the site was still not restored properly (totally non-functional website). They gave me the backups and told me to fix it (nice support eh?), but by putting backups on my site they blew my disk-quota, resulting in me not being able to copy/edit/modify/fix anything (thanks again support).

I have now submitted numerous support tickets asking for simply restoring of my website. Which they dont seem to be able to do. Additionally now they are saying there was no problem with the server, and seem to be washing their hands of any problems at all – thanks.

So who is this hosting company?

MDWebhosting.com – its ok, I will not be renewing my memberships with them. And I would suggest that anyone thinking of even vaguely using this hosting service.. to not do so. In my experience, the support is not even support. For a website to be down for over two weeks, and for the support team to not even care is beyond belief.

This company does not deserve any good comments. I have not had a single helpful email from them yet.

So.. where to now? PS3 bits will me moved.. revamped.. and back in a few more weeks.. its going to take a while for me to go through all the gear and get it all right again.

Sorry all..
